Describing Asian American Well-being & Needs in Cancer Study (DAWN) is a research conducted by UCLA. DAWN’s main goal is to gain a better understanding on how to improve care and quality of life for those living with cancer.  

What is DAWN?

  • DAWN stands for Describing Asian American Well-being & Needs in Cancer Study. 

  • Goal: learn what patients have experienced and what might bring patients a greater peace of mind

Who Is Eligible 

  • An adult ( 18 years or older) diagnosed with metastatic solid tumor cancer.

  • Chinese American, Korean American, or Vietnamese American living in the U.S 

Research Activities:

  • Receive a $90 e-Gift Card by completing:

  • Brief demographic questionnaires via phone

  • 1 hour interview

  • 30 minute survey
